Ben "Chevy" Shevchuk, PMP, serves as a Project Manager at AVIAN since July 2018, coordinating rapid prototyping and fielding projects for the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division's AIRWorks Group. Previously, Shevchuk held several key roles within the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), including Inspector General, where oversight programs protected a substantial annual budget from fraudulent activities. At Naval Air Station Patuxent River, leadership was provided as City Manager, overseeing operations for a large staff and managing substantial capital assets. Shevchuk also gained international experience as Operations and Training Director for Naval Striking and Support Forces NATO and held leadership positions in training squadrons and maintenance duties throughout a distinguished military career. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Strategic Studies from the United States Army War College and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Oregon State University.
