Chad Cundiff serves as the Chief Executive Officer for both Avex Aviation and The Blackhawk Group, bringing extensive leadership experience in the aviation sector. Prior to these roles, Cundiff was the President of Astronautics Corporation of America from September 2013 to February 2022, succeeding Michael Russek. Cundiff's previous experience includes serving as the Strategy and Business Development Leader at UTC Aerospace Systems and as Vice President at Honeywell Aerospace, where leadership involved product management and strategic initiatives for various aviation technologies. Cundiff is also a former Senior Engineer at Boeing and has held a position on the Board of Directors for Challenger Space Center Arizona. Educational qualifications include a Masterā€™s degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Washington and an MBA in Leadership and Strategy from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
