Neil Phelps is an experienced transport professional currently serving as Transport Manager at Avara Foods since January 2018, having previously held the role of Transport Shift Manager within the same company. Prior to Avara Foods, Neil gained experience as an HGV Driver at Cargill, Wye Valley Demolition, and MERVYN THOMAS RADNORSHIRE LIMITED, with a total of over a decade in driving positions. Neil’s earlier career included roles as a Truck Driver and Excavator Operator in various construction companies. Academically, Neil holds a BSc with Honours in Sports Coaching Science and Development from the University of Worcester, alongside several certifications in transport management, leadership, management, and mental health first aid.
