Augusto López Quirós has a diverse work experience history. Augusto started their career as a Terapeuta at Patronato Nacional de la Infancia in 2013, where they provided psychotherapeutic and socio-educational support to cases referred by the organization. In 2015, they worked as an Instructor, conducting workshops for parents and acquiring new tools for better education and parenting. Augusto then joined the Centro de Atención Neuropsicológica in 2015 as a Therapist, focusing on cases referred by educational institutions and using various tests to detect and recommend possible learning methods. In 2017, Augusto joined Auxis as a Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist and later progressed to Recruiting Specialist and Senior Recruitment Specialist roles. Currently, they are the Recruiting Lead at Auxis.

Augusto López Quirós obtained a Técnico degree in Administración en Recursos Humanos from Universidad de Costa Rica UCR in 2016-2017. Prior to that, they received a Licenciatura degree in Psicología from Universidad de Iberoamérica from 2011 to 2014. Augusto also holds additional certifications in Strategic Human Resources and Interviewing Techniques from LinkedIn, and an EFSET English Certificate 73/100 (C2 Proficient) from EF Standard English Test (EF SET) in 2022.
