Ian Gaskell is an experienced professional in the sports and community engagement sector, currently serving as the Business Support Manager at Autism Initiatives since February 2022. Prior to this role, Ian held various positions including Senior Community Engagement Coordinator at Wigan Athletic FC Community Trust, Sports Coordinator at Wiganyouthzone, and Football Officer at Wigan Athletic Community Trust, focusing on providing sporting opportunities for young people aged 8-19. Ian began coaching with the under 9 and under 10 teams at Wigan Athletic F.C.'s Centre of Excellence and also delivered coaching sessions at schools within the Wigan borough. Ian holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sports Coaching from the University of Central Lancashire and completed education at Rose Bridge High School.
