Shannon Flaherty is an accomplished Marine Engineer with extensive experience in the maritime industry, currently serving at Australian Offshore Solutions Pty Ltd since April 2014. Flaherty holds the position of 2nd Engineer on multiple vessels, including the LV 108, Seven Eagle, Sea Swan, Loch Seaforth, and Joseph Plateau, managing various projects for significant companies such as Inpex and Woodside IMR. Prior to this role, Flaherty worked at Mermaid Marine Australia Pty Ltd from October 2010 to July 2014, where positions included 1st and 2nd Engineer on vessels such as Mermaid Cove, Mermaid Guardian, and Mermaid Sentinal, contributing to projects for BHP Billiton and the Gorgon project. Earlier experience includes serving as a Marine Technician in the Royal Australian Navy from August 2002 to October 2010, working on vessels like HMAS ANZAC and HMAS BENDIGO. Flaherty is a graduate of Fremantle Maritime College.
