Simon Darcy

Australian Human Rights Commission Includeability Steering Committee & Ambassador at Australian Human Rights Commission

Simon Darcy is a Professor of Social Inclusion at UTS Business School, where responsibilities include advancing impactful research and practice-oriented business education. Simon also serves as Deputy Head of Research, enhancing the group's reputation in management-related disciplines. As co-lead of the UTS Disability Research Network and an ambassador for the IncludeAbility Steering Committee at the Australian Human Rights Commission, Simon champions evidence-based changes to improve opportunities for people with disabilities. Previous roles include directorships in research and teaching capacities across various institutions, significant contributions to councils and working groups focused on disability and accessibility, and development of sustainable tourism initiatives. Simon holds multiple degrees, including a PhD in Business from the University of Technology Sydney, and an MEnvPl in Environmental Science & Planning from Macquarie University.
