Kirsten Hodgon has a diverse work experience in various roles across multiple companies. Starting in 2006, they worked as a Practice Director at Ogilvy Public Relations until 2008. Kirsten then served as a General Manager at Mark Communications from 2008 to 2009. From 2009 to 2011, Kirsten worked as the Global Communications Director for Earth Hour at WWF. Following that, they held the position of Group Strategy Director at Hausmann Communications from 2011 to 2013. Kirsten then transitioned to the role of Senior Manager of Public Affairs at McDonald's Corporation from 2013 to 2014. Kirsten also concurrently worked as a Senior Corporate Communications Consultant at Nestlé during the same period. In 2014, Kirsten became the General Manager at One Green Bean until 2016. Kirsten then joined Roads and Maritime Services as the Principal Manager of Corporate Communications from 2016 to 2018. Afterward, they worked as the Head of Internal Communications at Rabobank from 2018 to 2019. Currently, Kirsten holds various positions at Ausgrid, including Senior Corporate Communications Consultant from 2019 to 2023, Head of Corporate Affairs in 2023, and Head of Public Affairs (acting) in 2023.
Kirsten Hodgson received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications Studies from the University of South Australia in 1994. During the same period, they also obtained a Diploma in Public Relations from TAFE SA. Additionally, Kirsten has completed the Ausgrid Senior Leadership Program at UNSW, with the year of completion not specified.
