Benoit Lord is a seasoned medical professional currently serving as a General Practitioner at GMF de la Rive since November 2021. Additionally, Benoit co-founded Bio Spectra ATTITUDE in December 2005, a Montreal-based company focused on creating ecological and carcinogen-free alternatives to baby, bath, body, and household products, promoting eco-responsibility and health-conscious consumer behavior globally. Benoit previously practiced as a General Practitioner at CISSS des Îles from August 2018 to October 2021. Prior to transitioning into the medical field, Benoit gained experience in finance as an Associate at Thoma Bravo from June 2003 to April 2005 and as an Analyst in the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs & Co. from July 2001 to May 2003. Benoit completed medical training at Université de Sherbrooke with a Postgraduate Residency in Family Medicine and obtained a Doctor of Medicine degree from Université de Montréal, following a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics and Finance from McGill University.
