Donghun Kang has a strong background in technical roles, with experience in various companies and academic institutions. Donghun is currently working at Atomera as an Integration Director. Prior to this, they held the position of Principal Member Of Technical Staff at Analog Devices, where they started in September 2021. From January 2019 to November 2021, Donghun worked at Maxim Integrated as a Principal Member Of Technical Staff. Before that, they were a Senior Member Of Technical Staff at GLOBALFOUNDRIES from August 2015 to November 2018. Donghun also worked at IBM as a Senior Process Module Engineer from November 2011 to June 2015. Donghun started their career at Samsung Electronics, where they held various roles such as Integration Team Lead and Researcher from February 2003 to August 2011. Prior to this, Donghun worked as a Post Doc. at North Carolina State University from February 2000 to January 2003.

Donghun Kang obtained their Bachelor's degree in Ceramic Sciences and Engineering from Inha University in 1989. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in the same field at Inha University, completing it in 1993. Continuing their educational journey, Kang attended North Carolina State University from 1995 to 2000, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Materials Science.
