Kirk Thompson currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Isola Group, a position held since May 2023. Prior to this role, Kirk Thompson was a Senior Principal Investigator at MITRE Engenuity from September 2022 to May 2023. From June 2018 to May 2023, Kirk Thompson worked as the R&D Director for Advanced Packaging Technology at DowDuPont and also held the position of Director Of Research Development at DuPont during the same period. Earlier in Kirk Thompson's career, leadership roles included President of NuvoSun Inc. from March 2013 to June 2018 and R&D Director at Dow Chemicals from 2009 to 2011. Kirk Thompson's academic background includes a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Iowa State University and an MBA in Leadership from Northwood University - DeVos Graduate School, along with a BA in Chemistry from St. Olaf College.
