Paul Husted has worked in the technology industry since 1997. Paul began their career at MITRE as a Co-op Engineer, followed by Atheros Communications as Manager of Algorithms & Architecture. In 2011, they joined Qualcomm as a Principal Engineer and Manager, where they worked on the QCA6174 mobile connectivity chip. In 2014, they moved to Google as a Hardware Engineer, where they were responsible for evaluating new WiFi/Bluetooth/GNSS technologies and tuning and debugging WiFi and Bluetooth power and performance in Google consumer hardware products. In 2019, they joined Atmosic Technologies as Senior Director of Technology, where they design and develops ultra-low power Bluetooth Low Energy chips and energy harvesting technologies to allow for battery-free wireless operation.
Paul Husted received their B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Boston University in 1998 and their M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley in 2000.
