Sarah B. Cruz, AS, CSPDT, CRCST, CHL, CIS, serves as the CS Quality & Education Program Development Coordinator at The Bone & Joint Institute at Hartford Hospital since March 2019, focusing on the growth and development of CS Technicians. Concurrently, Sarah holds the position of President of the CT Sterile Processing Association of HSPA and contributes as a columnist for Process Magazine, authored 'I AM STERILE PROCESSING.' As an elected Director for the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association, Sarah supports initiatives to elevate the Sterile Processing profession. Additionally, Sarah is President of PRETREAT CSS, providing career mentorship and guidance. Teaching as a Sterile Processing Instructor at Tunxis Community College and contributing as a writer for Ultra Clean Systems, Sarah has extensive experience in sterile processing, having held various roles in notable healthcare institutions. Currently pursuing an Associate of Science in Project Management at Albertus Magnus College, Sarah also holds multiple certifications in sterile processing technology.
