Joan Beaulieu is an experienced veterinarian with a background in both private practice and nonprofit work. Currently serving as an Associate Veterinarian at the Atlanta Humane Society since January 2014, Joan also operates a mobile veterinary business through Highland Mobile Veterinary Service, established in May 2010. Previous roles include founding owner and chief veterinarian at Intown Animal Hospital from May 2002 to May 2010 and serving on the Board of Directors for PAWS Atlanta from March 2019 to January 2021. Joan holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State University, as well as a Master's in Statistics and a Bachelor's in Animal Sciences from accredited institutions.
