Walter Bailey is an experienced professional specializing in mental health and substance use disorders, currently serving as an Operations and Policy Analyst 3 with the Oregon Health Authority since September 2021. As the founder of Dynamic Athlete Solutions since July 2020, Walter focuses on dynamic peer coaching and raising awareness for student athletes regarding culturally responsive education on mental health issues. Additionally, Walter is an Athlete Ambassador for Athletes For CARE and previously held roles as a Peer Support Specialist and Substance Use Counselor at Central City Concern from November 2015 to October 2021. Walter's earlier experience includes work as a Counselor at De Paul Treatment Centers from May 2012 to November 2015. Walter holds credentials including CADCI, PSS II, QMHA, and C.R. and obtained a degree from the University of Washington from 1989 to 1993.
