Brett Manney has held various roles in the lacrosse industry, starting with their position as a Professional Lacrosse Player for the New England Blackwolves in the National Lacrosse League from 2010. Brett then worked as a Content Manager at The Active Network from 2008 to 2010. In 2011, they joined NXTsports as the VP of Boys Events and later became the Director of Showcase Lacrosse. In 2012, they also became the Head Coach for NXT 2016 Lacrosse. Alongside their lacrosse career, Manney worked as a Broadcaster for the Major League Lacrosse starting in 2012 and as a High School Freelance Writer for ESPN from 2010 to 2012.
Brett Manney completed their secondary education at Holy Ghost Prep from 2000 to 2004. Following their high school graduation, they attended the University of Delaware from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English.
