Chris Nicol is an experienced Electrical Engineer currently employed at SMART Technologies since July 2010, where contributions include developing hardware for DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices. Previous roles include Firmware Engineer at SMART Technologies, where firmware and diagnostic tools were developed, and Electronics Contractor at Science Alberta Foundation, focusing on electronics design and repair for educational devices. Earlier experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Calgary and working as an Electronics Engineer at Grindcom, developing control systems for harvester units in the forestry sector. Chris Nicol holds a M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
