Okafor, Henry serves as the Chief of Cardiology at Nashville General Hospital@Meharry since August 2006 and has held the position of Director of Vanderbilt-Meharry Cardiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center since October 2006, where also contributes as an Assistant Professor of Medicine. Additionally, Okafor has been the National Vice President of the Association of Black Cardiologists since March 2014 and previously served as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Meharry Medical College from July 2006 to January 2012. Okafor's academic background includes education from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and Meharry Medical College.
