Sarah Emery currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Assistance Dogs Australia, a position held since October 2022. Previously, Sarah was the Chairperson and Non-Executive Director at the Illawarra Suicide Prevention & Awareness Network from November 2019 to December 2023. Additional experience includes Business Unit Manager ANZ for VetQuip at Covetrus and various operational roles at Greencross Vets from 2013 to 2021. Sarah began a career in veterinary medicine as a Veterinary Nurse in both General Practice and Emergency Critical Care from August 2010 to January 2014. Sarah's educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration in International Trade and Business from Deakin University and several diplomas and master's degrees related to coaching, leadership, and veterinary nursing.
