Sarah Dross-Gonzalez has a diverse work experience in the field of psychology and mental health. Sarah started their career in 2006 as a Post-Doctoral Clinician and Licensed Psychologist at Innovations in Learning, where they provided therapy services to individuals with Autism and developmental disabilities. Sarah then served as the Director of Training at Tri-City Community Mental Health Center, where they supervised interns and maintained the program's APA accreditation. In 2009, they became the Director of Clinical Training at Regional Mental Health Center, where they directed an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship and provided supervision to interns. Additionally, they conducted assessments and provided therapy services. Sarah also worked as a Psychologist at the University of Houston's Counseling Center, where they provided psychological services to students and supervised pre-doctoral interns. Sarah taught online courses as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Phoenix from 2009 to 2019. Sarah also worked as a Medical Expert at Mednick Associates, where they provided expert testimony and reviewed clinical files for social security disability benefit applicants. Most recently, Sarah held roles at Aspire Indiana Health, where they served as the Director of Clinical Training and Development before transitioning to the role of Senior Director of Clinical Training.
Sarah Dross-Gonzalez obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology from Purdue University Northwest, where they studied from 1998 to 2001. Following this, they attended the Chicago School of Professional Psychology from 2001 to 2006, earning a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) degree in Clinical Psychology.
