Peter Kite has a diverse work experience in the blood manufacturing industry. Peter started their career at the American Red Cross New England Region, where they worked as a Laboratory Technician from October 2003 to March 2006. Peter then progressed to the role of Production Laboratory Supervisor from March 2006 to August 2008.

Subsequently, Peter joined Blood Centers of the Pacific in September 2008 and held multiple roles during their tenure. Peter began as a Quality Control Supervisor, managing all QC staff for the blood manufacturing lab. In this role, they investigated QC failures, analyzed test results, and initiated corrective actions. Peter also actively participated in Six Sigma projects for process improvement and lean manufacturing. Peter's responsibilities also included personnel management, training, hiring, and disciplinary actions.
