Rachel Soyk has a diverse work experience. Rachel started their career as a Secretary at the American Red Cross in 2009. From 2010 to 2015, they worked as a Lifeguard at the Scarsdale Golf Club. In 2013, they joined New York University as a Resident Assistant and also worked as a Mathematics Tutor and Grader. Rachel continued their academic involvement at NYU as a General Engineering Teaching Assistant until 2014. In 2016, Rachel worked as a Credit Analyst at World Business Lenders, LLC. Rachel then became a Head Lifeguard and Swimming Instructor at Asphalt Green from 2014 and also worked as an Assistant Pool Manager from 2017 to 2018. In 2018, Rachel joined Lexicon Academics as a Mathematics Math Club Leader and Mathematics Tutor. Rachel then became an Adjunct Mathematics Instructor at The City College of New York in 2019. Finally, Rachel currently works as a Mathematics Teacher at Professional Children's School since March 2019.
Rachel Soyk attended White Plains High School from 2008 to 2012, where they completed their high school education with a focus on General Requirements. Following that, they enrolled at New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering and studied there from 2012 to 2016. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics with a minor in Business. Rachel also had the opportunity to study abroad in 2014 at NYULondon and in 2015 at NYUFlorence as part of their Bachelor's program.
In 2017, Rachel continued their academic journey at The City College of New York, where they pursued a Master's degree in Mathematics. Rachel is expected to complete their Master's program in 2022.
Rachel also holds a certification in CPR/AED and First Aid for Lifeguarding, which they obtained from the American Red Cross in June 2015.
