Dennis Maier

Dennis Maier has extensive work experience spanning over several industries. Dennis started their career in the US Army as a Captain and achieved the top-ranking position among their peers. Following their military service, they joined Ford Motor Company as a Production Supervisor. Dennis then transitioned to Boston Scientific, where they held roles as a Manager in Technical Sourcing and Contract Manufacturing. During this time, they successfully established a Contract Manufacturing Supply Chain and achieved significant cost savings.

Dennis then moved to Abbott Vascular, where they served as a Senior Manager for Xience V Catheters/Coronary Stents, overseeing Abbott's largest launch. Dennis later joined Medtronic, where they held roles as a Senior Manager in Operations and Engineering, as well as a Director in Commodity Management, leading the Low Cost Sourcing Strategy.

Continuing their career in the medical device industry, they joined Hill-Rom as the VP of Sourcing and later joined Baxter International Inc. as the Senior Director of Direct Procurement. In their role at Baxter, they managed a team responsible for a significant raw material spend and achieved substantial cost savings.

Dennis's most recent position is with Artivion, where they have served as the Senior Vice President of Global Operations, Chief Supply Chain Officer, and Growth. In this role, they have successfully managed global teams, implemented a matrix organization enabling double-digit growth, and established an S&OP process that significantly reduced backorders.

Currently, Dennis Maier holds the role of Chief Operating Officer at Aspen Surgical, where they continue to apply their extensive experience and expertise.

Dennis Maier completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at the United States Military Academy at West Point from 1991 to 1995. Later, from 2000 to 2002, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Purdue University Daniels School of Business. The field of study for their MBA is not provided.
