Chen Chen is a seasoned international development and transport professional with extensive experience at the Asian Development Bank since October 2007, where Chen currently serves as the Director for Transport in Central and West Asia, East Asia, and the Pacific, in addition to holding the role of Country Director for Sri Lanka. Prior to this, Chen worked as a Senior Pavement Management Engineer at VDOT from September 2006 to October 2007. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Transportation and Highway Engineering from Virginia Tech, a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from South China University of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Tsinghua University. Chen also completed certificates in Entrepreneurship Essentials and the CORe Credential of Readiness from Harvard Business School Online in 2018.
