Scott Black has a diverse work experience, starting from 2001 when they joined ASI Marine as the Sr. Operations Manager for Commercial Diving and Hyperbaric Tunneling Support. In this role, they managed and supervised various operational aspects of commercial diving and hyperbaric tunnel projects across different sectors. Scott worked on marine construction projects, underwater infrastructure inspection and maintenance, civil inspections of underwater structures, and industrial and hydro plant maintenance. Scott also conducted marine salvage operations and provided hyperbaric support and consulting for EPB tunnel construction. Throughout their career, Scott has held committee positions in several organizations, including CSA Standard Z275.3 Occupational Safety Code for Work in Compressed Air Environments, Infrastructure Health & Safety Association (IHSA), and CSA Group. Currently, Scott is serving as the Senior Vice President at ASI Group, and they recently joined in November 2022.
Scott Black's education history includes three institutions. Scott attended the Schulich School of Business - York University until 2015, where they studied Resource Management. Prior to that, they completed a Diploma of Applied Sciences at the Royal Australian Navy in 1992. Later on, in 2006, they obtained a degree in Professional Management with a specialization in Project Management from Brock University.
