Jennifer Reut

Jennifer Reut, PhD, serves as the Editor at Landscape Architecture Magazine, having progressed through the roles of Acting Editor, Senior Editor, and Associate Editor since October 2013. Under Jennifer's editorial leadership, the magazine serves as a key resource for the landscape architecture profession in North America, reaching over 60,000 readers. In addition to this role, Jennifer is the Founder of Mapping the Green Book, a project that documents the intersection of race and travel during the postwar period. Previous professional experiences include serving as Associate Editor for Perspectives on History at the American Historical Association, Adjunct Faculty at the University of Virginia, and Post Doctoral Fellow at the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture. Jennifer holds a PhD in Architectural History from the University of Virginia and possesses diverse educational qualifications in architecture, historic preservation, and related fields.
