Jim Henderson is an experienced professional with a diverse background in emergency management, operations, and human resources. Since May 2017, Jim has served as an Emergency Management Officer and previously as a People & Capability Advisor at Ashburton District Council. Prior to this, Jim worked as an Operations Manager at Canstaff/Agstaff from July 2014 to May 2017. Jim's earlier experience includes serving as a Probation Officer at the Department of Corrections from August 2011 to June 2014 and as an Infantry Soldier in the New Zealand Defence Force from October 1987 to October 2010. Jim is an alumnus of Ashburton College, having attended from 1982 to 1986.
