Prior experience includes a tenure at Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) from May 2014 to June 2023, where Charles held multiple leadership roles, including Military Director for Mission Engineering and Analysis, Tomahawk Development Product Team Lead, and Assistant Program Manager for Logistics for various aircraft. Charles's military career with the US Navy spanned from 1999 to 2014, featuring positions such as Commanding Officer of Patrol Squadron Ten and United States Pacific Fleet Reconnaissance Operations Officer. Charles's educational background includes a BS in Aerospace Engineering from Auburn University and an MA in Military Operational Art and Science from the USAF Air Command and Staff College, alongside program management and logistics certifications from Defense Acquisition University.
