Ashwin Kathapermall is a highly experienced aerospace professional currently serving as Project Manager (Lead) at Ascent Flight Training since August 2021, specializing in Fixed Wing & Fast Jet Phase 4 Capability Delivery. Previous experience includes roles at Babcock International Group, where Ashwin contributed to various projects from business development support to mechanical design engineering. Ashwin's career began in education as a Science Teacher and Leader of Physics, complemented by earlier roles in research and engineering, including positions with Airbus and Air Mauritius. Ashwin holds an MEng in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Surrey and a PGCE in Secondary Science with Physics from the University of Roehampton.
