Cathy Hyler is a seasoned process safety engineer with extensive experience in the chemical industry. Currently serving as a Senior Process Safety Engineer at Ascent Chemicals since October 2021, Cathy previously held similar roles at DanChem from 2017 to 2021. With a strong background in process safety management, Cathy has led compliance efforts with OSHA standards and managed risk assessments. Additional experience includes directing engineering and maintenance operations at Sky Valley Foods, overseeing compliance programs at DanChem Technologies, and managing plant operations at ChemDesign and Encycle. Cathy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno.
