Catalin-Gabriel Popa is a Corporate Conference Designer and Teambuilding Facilitator at Ascendis since August 2022, and a Hardware Quality Assurance Engineer at Preh Romania R&D since September 2021. Previously, Catalin-Gabriel served as Trainer, President, and Vice President for the Board of European Students of Technology from September 2015 to August 2023, delivering over 500 hours of training on various topics including efficient communication and leadership. Catalin-Gabriel held the position of Technical Coordinator at VARTA AG from June 2020 to August 2021, where responsibilities included designing the Technical Department and coordinating a team of technicians and engineers. Prior experience also includes roles as a Process Engineer at VARTA AG and Preh Romania, and as Assistant Plant Manager at NBHX Trim GmbH. Catalin-Gabriel earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics from Universitatea Transilvania din Brașov from 2014 to 2018 and completed English Bilingual studies at Colegiul National "Unirea"​ Brasov from 2010 to 2014.
