Daniel Reich began their work experience in 2011 as a Graduate student at the University of Utah and transitioned to a Research Scientist in March 2018. In June 2018, they joined ARUP Laboratories as a Clinical Variant Scientist, Lead.

Daniel Reich completed their Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2006 to 2010. Daniel then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry at the University of Utah School of Medicine from 2011 to 2018.
