Carol Morgan

Deputy Director For Education at ArtsConnection

Carol Morgan has served as the Deputy Director for Education at ArtsConnection in New York City since 1998, overseeing the development and administration of various educational programs and leading five multi-year research projects funded by the US Department of Education. Prior experience includes being an Independent Consultant from 1985 to 1995, where notable clients included The Parish Art Museum and The Open Society Institute. Carol also held the position of Acting Director of Education at The Museum of Modern Art from 1990 to 1994, managing staff and budgets and successfully raising over $2 million annually. As Executive Director at Cummington Community of the Arts from 1982 to 1987, Carol focused on fundraising and innovative programming for artist-parents. Earlier, Carol worked as an Educator at Goddard Cambridge Graduate Program in Social Change, advising and mentoring graduate students. Carol holds a Master's degree in Women's Literature from Goddard College.
