Jamie Lee Evans is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in the financial services sector. Currently serving as Senior Counsel at Artisan Partners since October 2019, Jamie previously held the position of Legal Counsel at Janus Henderson Investors, EMEA from January 2018 to October 2019. Prior to these roles, Jamie built a foundation in corporate law as an Associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP & Affiliates for five years, with an earlier tenure as a Summer Associate in 2011 and as an Extern at the Chambers of Andrew J. Wistrich in 2010. Jamie obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) with a specialization in Business - Tax Track from the University of California, Los Angeles - School of Law in 2012, following a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University in 2008.
