Rich Russell has a diverse work experience with various roles in technology-related fields. Rich started their career at Microsoft as a Network Engineer and later became an Operations Manager. After leaving Microsoft, they co-founded Forensa, Inc, where they served as the Owner and Vice President. Rich then worked as the Director of Technical Services at the Kent Washington School District, followed by a role as a Senior Network Engineer at T-Mobile. Most recently, they held the position of Senior Network/Security Engineer at REI, where they led the design and implementation of data center installations and SD-WAN for multiple locations, resulting in significant cost savings. Currently, they are the Network Strategy Lead at Armada. Throughout their career, Rich has obtained multiple certifications in various technology areas.
Rich Russell completed their education history by obtaining an MBA in InfoSec from James Madison University in 2007. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Networking from Strayer University in 2004. Rich'seducation started with an Associate of Applied Science degree in General Studies from Brigham Young University - Idaho in 1991. In addition to these academic achievements, Rich Russell has also obtained multiple certifications from Cisco, including CCNA, CCNP, CCDA, CISSP, MCSE, and MCT.
