Pierre Destaing has extensive experience in the aerospace industry, currently serving as the Launcher Technical Manager at Arianespace since September 1992. Throughout the tenure at Arianespace, Pierre has held several key positions including Chef du département propulsion, Chef adjoint département propulsion, and Ingénieur d'affaire. Prior to this, Pierre worked at CNES as an Ingenieur développement from September 1987 to July 1992 and began the career at EFAB Bourges as a Scientifique du contingent in 1986. Pierre's early experience also includes a role as an Ingenieur d'étude at EDF NERSA. Pierre holds an engineering degree in mechanical construction from the Institut national des Sciences appliquées de Lyon and graduated with a Bac C mention Bien from Lycée Chaptal in Mende.
