Derek Butler is a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in scientific research and applications. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Archer Daniels Midland Company since September 2015, Derek has prior experience as an ADM Post Doctoral Fellow at The University of Kansas from January 2014 to September 2015, and as a Research Associate at GeneOhm Sciences from October 2002 to December 2006. Derek holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Inorganic Chemistry from UC San Diego, obtained between 2007 and 2013, and a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Kansas' Graduate School of Business, completed from 2018 to 2020. Additionally, Derek earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from San Diego State University from 1996 to 2002.
