Julie St Croix has extensive work experience in the field of pastoral planning and leadership within the Catholic Church. Julie began their career in 2006 as the Director of Faith Formation at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, where they served until 2012. In 2012, they transitioned to the Archdiocese of Baltimore, where they held several roles, including Coordinator of Pastoral Leadership Formation and Pastoral Associate for Urban Vicariate. From 2017 to 2018, they served as a Pastoral Planning Facilitator, and since 2021, they have been the Director of the Office of Parish Renewal. Julie's work experience demonstrates their dedication and expertise in guiding and supporting parish communities.
Julie St Croix obtained a Masters in Theology from St. Mary's Seminary and University, studying from 2004 to 2009. Prior to that, they pursued a Masters in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources at the University of Alberta from 1990 to 1994. Julie's undergraduate degree is a Bachelors in Science with a specialization in Mathematics, also completed at the University of Alberta, from 1984 to 1988.
In addition to their academic qualifications, Julie St Croix has obtained certifications in Effective Facilitation and Facilitating Strategic Planning from Leadership Strategies. Julie acquired the Effective Facilitator certification in April 2019 and the Facilitating Strategic Planning certification in October 2018.
