Laurice Flowers, PhD, M(ASCP), is a Senior Scientist in Skin Microbiome at Arcaea since May 2022, following a role as Medical and Public Health Microbiology Fellow at Indiana University School of Medicine from July 2020 to May 2022. Previous experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Dermatology at the University of Pennsylvania from July 2017 to July 2020, and as a Doctoral Student at Tufts University from July 2011 to July 2017. Laurice has also been recognized as an SMDP Scholar at the International Center for Professional Development between July 2014 and July 2015. Early academic contributions encompass a research technician position at The University of Chicago and advisory roles for various research programs at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Laurice holds a PhD in Molecular Microbiology from Tufts University and a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
