Mai Fujiwara, Ph.D., is a Principal Scientist at Regeneron since April 2024, following a role as Scientist II at 2seventy bio where a research team was led to develop a next-generation CAR-T cell therapy for solid tumors. Previous experience includes a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Brigham and Women's Hospital, focusing on immune regulation mechanisms by microRNAs, and a Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School. During tenure as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Celgene, contributions were made to understanding genetic variants in autoimmune diseases, with earlier research as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Connecticut Health Center studying immune regulation mechanisms. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Connecticut Health Center and a B.S. in Biology/Biochemistry from Eastern Connecticut State University.
