Tracy Wilson Wells is an experienced editorial manager currently serving at Aptara since March 2022. Prior to this role, Tracy operated Wilson Wells Editorial Services as an editor, writer, and project manager from January 2020 to March 2022, focusing on the development of digital and print educational materials for K–12 social studies and ELA programs. From 2013 to 2019, Tracy held the position of supervising editor at Heinemann Publishing, where numerous books in the Units of Study series were edited, generating $38.5 million in sales. Additionally, between 2008 and 2012, Tracy was the lead creative developer at Teachers' Curriculum Institute, producing instructional content for social studies programs across grades K–12. Earlier experience includes serving as a senior editor for Holt Rinehart & Winston from 2004 to 2008, developing social studies programs for high school students. Tracy possesses a Master’s degree in British History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor’s degree in History from Texas Christian University.
