Sagar Lakhmani has four years of professional experience. Sagar is currently a Senior Software Engineer at Apptronik since 2020. Prior to this, they were a Robotics Software Engineer at Honeywell from 2019 to 2020. From 2016 to 2019, Sagar was a Graduate Research Assistant at Penn State University, where they developed controllers for path planning and collision avoidance of multiple robots flying in an airspace, and implemented control theory principles such as system identification and adaptive controller design on quadcopters for various competitions. From 2013 to 2016, Sagar was a Software Engineer Analyst at Accenture, where they worked for the banking giant Barclays as a Technology Analyst, developing and supporting reporting systems based on tools such as Qlikview, SAP BO, and Spotfire, and solving thousands of critical issues every month which helped business continuity in the bank.

Sagar Lakhmani obtained their Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Penn State University between 2016 and 2018. Prior to that, they obtained their B.tech in Electrical and Electronics from APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University between 2009 and 2013. Sagar also holds a certification in Applications of Parallel Computing from Xsede Limited.
