Jose Gomez is an accomplished Software Engineer with extensive experience in backend development, primarily using Java. Since March 2014, Jose has been with Applied Technical Systems, where contributions include the development of RESTful services for the United States Patent and Trademark Office, a rule-based pricing engine, and dynamic PDF and Excel document generation. Prior to this role, Jose worked at Sapient Government Services from May 2010 to March 2014 as a Senior Associate Technology, focusing on the National Database of Autism Research. Earlier experience includes software engineering roles at Washington Hospital, where projects included a C# based bronchoscopy simulator and various Java applications for training and attendance tracking. Jose holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, obtained in 2008.
