James Young possesses over two decades of experience in the semiconductor industry, currently serving as Sr. Director and Implant Services Business Unit Head at Applied Materials since November 2011. In this role, James is responsible for Service and Spares revenue for Implant systems and the development of value-driven service offerings for the customer base. Prior to this position, James held the role of Engineering Program Manager at both Applied Materials and Varian Semiconductor, where responsibilities included managing complex technical programs designed to address high-value customer problems. Additionally, James served as Installation Manager, coordinating resources and logistics for the installation of semiconductor equipment. James earned a degree from Endicott College between 1999 and 2005.
