Zach Way has a diverse work experience with various roles in different companies. Zach started their career at Grace Baptist Church in Santa Maria, California, where they served as a Youth Pastor Intern and Worship Leader from 2009 to 2011. Zach then interned as a Youth Pastor and Worship Leader at Grace Point Church in Del Mar from 2011 to 2013. After that, they worked at San Diego Christian College as a Resident Assistant and Worship Leader from 2012 to 2013. Zach also had a role as a Recreation Leader and Activities Specialist at Hume Lake Christian Camps in 2013. In the same year, they joined Wasco Switches & Sensors as a QA Specialist, where they worked until 2017. Zach then returned to Grace Baptist Church as a High School Worship Leader & Staff from 2013 to 2014. Zach also worked at Path for Growth as a Podcast Director from 2020 to 2021. Currently, they hold various positions at Wasco Switches & Sensors, including Marketing Manager since 2017, Executive Leadership Team member since 2019, Director of Operations since December 2021, and previously as an Operations Manager from January to December 2021. Zach also had a role as a Podcast Director at Next Peak Podcast from January to October 2021.

Zach Way has a diverse education history. Zach obtained a degree in Biblical Studies with a focus on Youth Ministry from San Diego Christian College in the years 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed an Associate of Arts degree in Communications at Allan Hancock College from 2008 to 2010. In 2008 to 2009, Zach also attended the Joshua Wilderness Institute. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications such as a Business Made Simple Certified Coach and certifications from The John Maxwell Team, Seth Godin's Akimbo Workshops, and the Evangelical Training Association. Zach is also ordained as a Pastor in the Christian Church.
