Genevieve Silverman currently serves as the Director of Finance & Operations at Appalachian Voices, a nonprofit dedicated to advocating for a healthy environment and equitable economy in the Appalachian region since July 2022. Prior to this role, Genevieve held several leadership positions, including President & CEO and Executive Director of NexusLA, where responsibilities included fostering tech-enabled companies and promoting STEM-based entrepreneurship. Additional experience includes serving as Director of Finance at Dean Capital, LLC, and holding assistant vice president positions at both IberiaBank and Hibernia National Bank, focusing on underwriting and portfolio management for commercial loans. Genevieve's educational background includes a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University and studies in accounting at the University of New Orleans, along with a Bachelor of Arts from Louisiana State University.
