Ché Thomson has a diverse work experience spanning from 2013 to 2020. From 2013-2015, they were a Tutor and Mentor at Stellenbosch University, and an Intern at TFG (The Foschini Group) in 2015. In 2016, they were a Journalist for Global Young Voices, a Graduate in Virtual Learning for TFG (The Foschini Group), and a Delegate (South Africa) for the G20 Youth Summit. In 2017, they pursued a Masters Degree at the University of Cambridge, and in 2018, they were an Intern at The Clothing Bank. In 2019, they were a Learning Designer for 2U, and in 2020, they were a Delegate (South Africa) for Y20 Saudi Arabia, as well as a Head of Course Creation and Instructional Designer for Apolitical.
Ché Thomson has a diverse education history. In 2007, they graduated from Herschel High School. From 2012 to 2014, they obtained a BAValue and Policy Studies from Stellenbosch University, with a focus in Economics, Politics, and Knowledge Management. In 2015, they obtained an Honours in Socio Informatics from Stellenbosch University, with a focus in Information Systems, General. In 2017, they obtained a Master of Philosophy - MPhil in Development Economics and International Development from the University of Cambridge. That same year, they also completed a Summer School in International Relations: BRICS at Fudan University. Additionally, in 2017, they obtained a TEFL certification from i-to-i TEFL. In 2018, they completed the European Summer Programme: Between Integration, Globalisation and Nationalism at Europa-Institut, Saarland University, with a focus in Policy, Law, and International Politics. Finally, they also have an International Computer Drivers License from ICDL.
