Yan Chong has been working in the semiconductor industry since 1999. Yan began their career at Altera as a MTS Design Engineer. Yan then moved to AppliedMicro as a Principal Engineer in 2015. In 2017, they joined Ampere Computing as a Principal Circuit Design Engineer, where they designed high performance clock tree/clock mesh for multi-core arm server chip. Finally, in 2019, they joined Apex Semiconductor as a Principle Design Engineer.
Yan Chong obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China in 1992. Yan then pursued a Master's Degree in Solid State Physics from the same university, which they completed in 1995. In 1996, they moved to the University of Florida and obtained a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 1998.
