J. Toby Gray, PA-C has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. J. Toby started their career as a Certified Athletic Trainer at Baptist Hospital, where they worked with Dr. Burton Elrod, the team physician for the Tennessee Titans. After that, they joined Holy Cross Hospital as a Physician Assistant, leveraging their sports medicine background. In 2001, they founded Surgical Assist, Inc. and served as its Founder, Chairman, and CEO. The company later partnered with SpecialtyCare, Inc. in 2009, where Gray took on the role of President and EVP. Most recently, they became the CEO of AP Health in 2013. Gray has demonstrated expertise in surgical assistance and strong leadership skills throughout their career.
J. Toby Gray, PA-C obtained a B.S. degree in Physician Assistant from Nova Southeastern University during the years 1996 to 1998. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Exercise and Sports Science, specializing in Sports Medicine, from the University of Florida from 1990 to 1993.
