Carolien Krijnen is an accomplished business owner and guide with extensive experience in the tourism and hospitality sectors. As the owner of Chocalicious since June 2016, Carolien specializes in interactive chocolate workshops in the heart of Antwerp. Additionally, Carolien has been a part of Wereldstadgidsen.com since November 2019, contributing to a network of Dutch-speaking quality guides. Through Antwerpconnection, started in June 2004, Carolien organizes arrangements, city walks, and incentives, promoting culinary and cultural experiences in Antwerp. Carolien also serves as a recognized city guide for Toerisme Vlaanderen and conducts tours at Antwerp Zoo since 2015. Previous roles include Public Relations Coordinator for Antwerp Tours Association and Wijkreporter for Gazet van Antwerpen, alongside earlier positions in client services and event management. Carolien holds a BBA from the European University, obtained between 1985 and 1989.
